AFFCS FUT MINNA is a duly registered non-profit organization, officially incorporated on October 29, 2021 (CAC Reg. No. 168241). We unite alumni of FCS FUT Minna for spiritual, moral, and professional support. Our core mission is to promote unity, foster networking, provide mentorship, and offer financial/material assistance to both alumni and the current student fellowship.

Our structured governance is led by the Central Executive Committee (CENTCOM), an eleven-member body that oversees all activities. The CENTCOM serves a two-year term, supported by the Expanded Executive Committee and the Board of Trustees. Notably, the current executive team represents the second set of executives since the association's official inauguration, ensuring continuity and democratic change.

The AFFCS CENCOM (2023–2025) aims to revitalize its alumni through spiritual growth, networking, and professional development. The plan focuses on supporting the current FCS student fellowship, engaging the university chapel community, and establishing transparent financial and structural frameworks to ensure sustainable impact and long-term organizational growth.
The Alumni Fellowship of the Fellowship of Christian Students, Federal University of Technology Minna (AFFCS FUT MINNA), is a recognized and fully incorporated non-profit and non-political organization, dedicated to serving the alumni community of FCS FUT Minna. The association officially achieved corporate body status on October 29, 2021, receiving the Certificate of Incorporation from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with Registration Number 168241. Our foundation is deeply rooted in our commitment to the Christian faith, as our constitution upholds the totality and infallibility of the Holy Bible as the divine and final authority for life and doctrine.
The core aim of AFFCS FUT MINNA is two-fold: to serve as a supportive forum for alumni and to be responsible for the welfare and guidance of the student body, FCS FUT Minna. Our objectives are strategically designed to foster mutual growth and support, including uniting past members globally, promoting spiritual unity, and creating professional networking and capacity-building platforms. We actively provide mentorship, offer welfare assistance to members in times of need, and extend vital spiritual, financial, and material support, as well as advisory and supervisory roles, to the student fellowship.
Guiding Principle: Our constitution affirms our belief in the totality and infallibility of the Holy Bible as the divine and final authority for the Christian faith and life, and ensures that nothing in the constitution conflicts with the Holy Bible and the laws of the land.
The primary aim of the AFFCS is to provide a forum where the alumni of the Fellowship of Christian Students, FUT Minna, can find support spiritually, morally, and professionally, and to be responsible for the student body, FCS FUT Minna.
The governance of AFFCS FUT MINNA is managed through a clearly defined, multi-tiered leadership framework designed for efficient administration and broad representation, often referred to as the ESCO structure. The association’s key decision-making organs include the Central Executive Committee (CENTCOM), which is the primary administrative body; the Expanded Executive Committee (EEC), which incorporates State/Diaspora Coordinators and Standing Committee Heads for broader input; the State/Diaspora Executive Committees that manage local chapter activities; and the Board of Trustees (BoT), which serves a crucial advisory and disciplinary function.
The CENTCOM is the core executive leadership, consisting of Eleven (11) elected members who hold critical portfolios such as President, General Secretary, Finance Secretary, and Public Relations Officer. These executives are entrusted with a mandate to serve a two-year single term, ensuring fresh leadership while maintaining institutional knowledge through the Ex-officio role. Significantly, the current executive body, which includes the CENTCOM, represents the second set of executives since the association’s official inauguration. This demonstrates the association’s commitment to regular and structured transitions of power, reinforcing its stable history of democratic governance.
